What is Amazon
Amazon is an American multinational technology company focusing on e-commerce, cloud computing, digital streaming, and artificial intelligence. It is one of the largest online retailers in the world, offering a vast selection of products, including books, electronics, clothing, and household goods. In addition to its retail platform, Amazon also operates a variety of other services, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is a cloud-based computing platform used by businesses and individuals, and Amazon Prime, which is a subscription service that provides customers with access to free shipping, streaming of movies and TV shows, and more. Amazon also produces and sells its hardware products, including the Amazon Echo smart speaker and the Kindle e-reader. Overall, Amazon has a broad range of products and services, making it one of the world's most popular and influential companies.
Connecting the Amazon SP API Sales Channel
Unlike other platforms, you don't need an API key with Amazon SP API. Following the installation guide for the specific product you're on, you can easily install the Amazon SP API Channel. Once you have installed the sales channel, you will be prompted to log in to your Amazon account and confirm the connection. This simple process eliminates the need to create an API key, making it easier and more convenient for users to connect their channels.
Once you save your Amazon sales channel, you will be forwarded to the signing-in page if you have yet to log in to your Amazon seller account. However, if you are already logged in to your Amazon account, you will be directed to the account selection page, which is the second frame. Select your Amazon account and the relevant marketplace on the third frame, then click the "Select Account" button. To authorize, check the corresponding checkbox, click "Confirm", and then wait for the authorization process to complete. Once these steps are done, the connection will be made.
