Obtaining your API Keys from Magento V1

  1. Go to the Panel Menu and select "System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Roles".
  2. Click on "Add New Role" to create a new role.
  3. Provide a name for the new role and enter the current admin password.
  4. Move to the "Role Resources" tab and set "Resource Access" to "All". Save the new role by clicking on "Save Role".
  5. Return to the Panel Menu and select "System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Users".
  6. Click on "Add New User" to create a new user.
  7. Fill in the required fields with the necessary information, ensuring that the "User Name" and "API Key" fields have values that are easy to remember.
  8. Choose the role you created earlier in the "User Role" field and click the "Save User" button to complete the process. The new user with the specified role is now ready for integration.

Obtaining your API Keys from Magento V2

  1. From the left side menu, navigate to "Systems > Integrations."
  2. Click the "Add New Integration" button on the Integrations page.
  3. Enter a name for the integration and your current admin password. You can also fill out the other non-mandatory fields if needed.
  4. Click on the "API" tab and set "Resource Access" to "All".
  5. Next, click the Save drop-down button and select "Save & Activate".
  6. A prompt will appear asking for your permission to allow the integration. Click on the "Allow" button to proceed.
  7. Once you have allowed the integration, you will see an Access Token key. You can copy this key and click on "Done".
