To set up a Shopify store on Despatch Cloud, you must have the login credentials for the Shopify store you wish to set up. As you can see in the picture below, there are some fields like Access Token that you need to obtain from your Shopify store.

You must log in to your Shopify store and create a Developer App. To create an App, follow the steps below:

1. Upon logging in to your Shopify store, select the "Apps" from the left side menu.

2. Click on "App and sales channel settings."

3. Click on "Develop apps".

4. If this is the first time of an app being created for your Shopify account, you will see the "Start developing apps on your store" message and have to click on the "Allow custom app development" button.

Then click on the "Allow custom app development" button again.

5. Click on the "Create an app" button.

6. Enter an "App name" and click on the "Create app" button. The “App developer” will be automatically selected as the current user and can be changed through that option if desired.

7. After creating the app, you will be redirected to the page below, click on the “Configure Admin API scopes.

8. Scroll down to the "Admin API access scopes" section. You must specify the access permissions for the App.

You can see the values you need to check in the table below.

Once they are selected, as shown in the examples above, please click on the "Save" button through the top right corner of the page.

9. Once you're done with the access scopes, click on the "Install app" button from the top right corner.

Then the confirmation screen will appear as shown below. After that, please click on the "Install" button to proceed.

10. Click on the "Reveal token once" to make the access token visible.

The hostname is also highlighted on the left top corner.

Finally, you need to copy the Admin API access token, and the hostname.

The hostname is the store name that you can obtain from the store URL: "yourstorename.myshopify.com"

Only the store name must be entered to the hostname section. It's the highlighted section of the URL above. 

11. Once you have your Shopify authentication credentials, you place them into the required fields to set up your channel.

You can use the access token you have created by turning on the "Use Access Token" option while creating a Shopify channel and entering the token into the relevant field.

Note: If you use Access Token you don't need to enter API Key and Password.
