C-Discount Setup Guide

To set up an C-Discount sales channel on Despatch Cloud, you will need to follow these steps:

Obtaining the API keys from C-Discount

To retrieve your API connection user ID and password, follow these steps:

  • Go to your seller area and navigate to "Settings > Your personal settings and bank details > Change your API connection settings."
  • Locate your API user ID, which is typically in the format of "login-api."
  • Click on "Reset your API password." A temporary API password will be sent to the email address associated with your seller account.
  • Change the temporary API password to a secure, personalized password in the "Change your API login settings" tab.

You can proceed with the next step once you are done with creating the API keys.

Installing the C-Discount Sales Channel

1. Click the "Settings" button in the bottom left corner of the screen after logging into Despatch Cloud.


2. In the Settings menu, navigate to the "Sales Channels" section and select the integration you want to install.


3. From the list of available sales channel integrations, select the C-Discount option.


4. Fill in the fields as shown below:


Name: In the provided field, you can enter any name you desire. However, it is recommended to choose a name that has meaning to you, such as "C-Discount", as it will serve as an apparent reference for the source of the order in the future.

As for the "Client ID," "Client Secret" and "Seller ID" sections, please enter the information obtained from the C-Discount platform, as previously instructed. It is essential to ensure that these fields are filled in correctly to access your account.

5. Once the channel is created successfully, you will receive a message confirming this on the top-right corner of your screen.
